Olympics inspires Partington gymnast

PARTINGTON gymnast Carly Briggs has certainly been inspired by her recent trip to watch the London 2012 Olympic games.
Competing in the North West championships at Robin Park, Wigan on September 15, the 11-year-old landed a fantastic haul of five golds and a silver to be crowned North West Level 2 champion.
Carly, who trains at Warrington Gymnastics Club, put on a fantastic display combining power and grace throughout the four piece competition.
Carly is now looking forward to competing at the national finals in Guildford on the Novermber 3 and 4 where she will be up against the very best gymnasts in the country in her age group.
