TCAS League 2012 champions crowned

THE TCAS League season concluded at the weekend with Parsons Brinckerhoff being crowned 2012 league champions.

Parsons topped the league table with 30 points with Gencia FC finishing a close second on 29 points.

Ryan Nuttall of Gencia was awarded the season's leading goalscorer trophy for the second year running with a goal tally of 21 in 14 games for the runners-up.

The Parsons Brinckerhoff management team Sam Ankers, Andy Jackson and Asif Patel were all present for the final fixture of the season which saw Gencia beat Parsons 3-0 in a cagey match.

The result had no bearing on the title however, and Parsons will be looking forward to defending their trophy when the 2013 campaign commences in April.

Autocab and Aviva Athletic finished bottom of the table and will now be looking to sign new players and re-shuffle their squads to challenge for a higher finish next season.
