Walton Park Indoor Football Centre gets closer to a new playing surface
THE Walton Park Indoor Football Centre in Sale has taken a step further forward to a new playing surface for one of its pitches.
The Waitrose Community Donation scheme passed a cheque over to the centre manager Jeff Staniforth for more than £200 for the scheme.
Jeff is pictured receiving the cheque from the Altrincham store manager Gail Manson. He said: “Every contribution to the centre including income from the football users helps the charity improve the facilities, in the new year our priority is to install a new playing surface on our number three playing pitch and follow this up as soon as we can with an investment to the other two pitches. We thank all of our partners and customers for staying loyal to the centre and there is still space for more football use if people wish to book."
