Korfball club opens doors to inspired Olympics fans

A SALE korfball club is giving people inspired by the Olympics the chance to try out the sport when it opens its doors to beginners throughout September.

Korfball is a mixed team sport similar to basketball, netball and handball.

Although it is not an Olympic sport Manchester Korfball Club are encouraging people who have been inspired by watching Team GB’s phenomenal success to dust off their trainers, come down and try out a new sport for free.

The beginners’ sessions are free and will be held at Sale Leisure Centre every Thursday throughout September from 8pm-10pm.
