The Scots are coming to Heywood Road as Sale F.C. host back-to-back Scottish Premier champions Melrose in a pre-season opener on Saturday, August 11, kick off 2.30pm.

This will be the first meeting between the two long established clubs, and will provide a testing 80 minutes for Sale, promoted last season to League 1 North, as they take on a talented side coached by former Scotland and British Lions half back Craig Chalmers.

Admission is free and Sale are hoping to have a good attendance at this, the first of their pre-season games.
