AKRFC receive top Rugby Football Union award

ALTRINCHAM Kersal (AKRFC) are celebrating success in achieving the Rugby Football Union’s club accreditation status.
The scheme is designed to both recognise and assist a club to continually improve, while demonstrating a commitment to providing all that’s best in rugby union.
Achievement of the scheme is based upon key criteria, including retaining and developing players, recruiting new players; recruiting and retaining high quality coaches, volunteers and referees; effective and efficient facilities; and effective and efficient management and governance.
AKRFC, who are based at Stelfox Ave in Timperley, run three senior men’s teams, a women’s team and mini / junior teams from under-sevens through to under-19s.
The men’s teams start training for the new season on July 5 at 7pm with the women, mini and junior teams later in July.
