THE TCAS summer football league season is now at midpoint, with two teams proving to be front runners for the title. Gencia FC, currently in second place have had a good run of form recently and with the league’s leading goalscorer, Ryan Nuttall, midfield maestro Martez Halliday and hard working playmaker Tom Kimber all fit for the remainder of the season they will certainly be pushing for the top spot when the season concludes in September.

A well fought 3-2 victory over Lloyds recently led to Gencia manager Asif Norat being awarded manager of the month for June.

Standing in their way however will be Parsons Brinckerhoff who recently justified their position at the top of the table by coming from 2-0 down to defeat Zen FC 7-3 in a match which saw Shane Bates in fine form scoring five goals for Parsons in the second half.
