Altrincham Juniors u-16s team win League Cup
ALTRINCHAM Juniors u-16s won the Timperley and District League divison three Cup on Monday night with a superb win against Urmston Town at Flixton FC.
In a very close game between two evenly matched teams, Urmston took the lead midway through the first half before Altrincham equalised with a goal of great quality to take the teams into the break at 1-1.
The second half continued to produce some crisp and pacy football from both sides, but it was Altrincham who broke the deadlock with 10 minutes to go with a close range strike.
Altrincham continued to defend well, and the team were celebrating a few minutes later when the final whistle went to bring the game to a close.
