YOUNG stars who practice their skills at Urmston Judo Club at the George H Carnall Centre enjoyed great success in the North West Area Cheshire Open at Wilmslow.
They picked up six gold medals, four silver and two bronze plus the trophy for the club winning most medals.
Delighted coach Steve Pullen MBE said: “The age group we had in attendance at Wilmslow was between eight and 45 years old and the hard work they have put in got its due reward with the medal success, particularly among the younger players, being very pleasing.
"We look forward to more success at all levels in the coming months.”
