MANCHESTER Storm maintained their push for a top-four finish in the Elite League with a 9-1 win against Coventry on Saturday evening and a 7-5 victory over Sheffield Steelers on Sunday.

While the win against Coventry was an outstanding performance, the victory over Sheffield in the Steel City was Storm's first against their Yorkshire rivals in 19 attempts.

Storm trailed 3-0 early on after captain Jay Rosehill was sent off and then trailed 5-2 before an incredible team effort saw Ryan Finnerty's men stun the Sheffield faithful with five unanswered goals.

Storm's next game is on Saturday when they entertain Guildford Flames at the Storm Shelter in Altrincham (7pm).
