ON Saturday October 14 at their game at Silver Blades ice Rink, Altrincham, against the Dundee Stars, Go Goodwins Manchester Storm will once again take to the ice in pink jerseys to help raise funds for the Christie.

The month of October is the International Cancer Awareness month, and since 2015, Manchester Storm has teamed up with The Christie, one of the largest cancer treatment centres in Europe, to help raise raise funds and support for the Manchester based centre.

Across the world, a pink ribbon symbolises cancer awareness, which is why Storm used the colour for its first “Pink the Rink” jersey in 2015, and again last October.

This season's limited edition “Pink the Rink” jerseys have once again been specially designed for the night, placing The Christie in prime location on the jersey.
