TIMPERLEY Conservative Club are the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League summer champions after a 6-1 victory against Gardeners A in the final match of the season.
The Cons have been a consistent team the whole season with captain Darren Buckley ecstatic with winning the title and praising his players for their outstanding performance.
Elsewhere, Cringlewood finished runners-up after falling at the last hurdle and losing 4-3 against Gardeners B, who finished third.
Central Club also fell at the last hurdle, losing 4-3 against Brooklands Tap, the result leaving the Tap in fourth and Central fifth.
Budenburgs won their last match, beating Brigadier 5-2, while British Rail registered the same margin of victory against Station.
The presentation night takes place at Central Club on Monday with the winter season due to start on October 2.
