TRAFFORD FC are building up to the new Evo-Stik North campaign and have been boosted by two sponsorship deals.

The club's Shawe View ground has been renamed the First Point Shawe View Stadium this season thanks to a major sponsorship deal with Urmston-based 24-hour recovery and roadside assistance specialists First Point Commercials Limited, thanks to First Point chief executive Rob Woolley, who is also chairman of Trafford's junior section.

Also, the club's main sponsor Simon Breen has renewed his partnership for a second consecutive season through his finance and payroll services and business health checks company, SBFD.

It is hoped the support of both companies will help Tom Baker's team challenge again at the top of the division this season.

Meanwhile, Trafford are hosting a music evening on Saturday night at their First Point Shawe View Stadium.

The star attraction is Martin Stephenson with his brand of pop, rock and folk music, with special guests including Steve O'Donoghue, Darren Poyzer and Eliza P.

The event gets under way at 5pm and tickets can be bought in advance via the Trafford FC Twitter account – @FCTrafford.

Alternatively, payment can be made on the gate on the night.
