SALE Sharks' Denny Solomona says he is doing everything he can to make sure he is fit for England’s tour to Argentina this summer.
The winger injured his ankle at England’s training camp last week, but is determined to get on the flight to Argentina and make his debut for his adopted country.
He told the Sharks' website: "I’m going to do some running rehab this week, and then I'm going back into camp on Monday and we’ll see how it goes from there.
"I’m not out of Argentina just yet, I’m doing everything in my power to make sure I make the trip. I’ve done all the necessary steps to get back in there."
Speaking about how the camp has gone so far, he said: "I’ve learned a lot from just three days of being in camp in Brighton – the structure and the way England play. It’s intense, but that’s what he (Eddie Jones) likes to bring into the camp, and that’s what will take England to the next level.
"Having my fellow Sharks around me helped me settle in quicker, we just got stuck in and got down into doing what we need to do."
