OLD Stretfordians seconds lost 4-0 to Village Manchester in Division B of the Lancashire and Cheshire Amateur Football League last weekend.
Village got off to a fortunate start when Manetsi Mbano got the faintest of touches to divert the ball past the Strets keeper from a back pass.
Damien Mooney bagged two goals in four minutes before the break to put Village in charge.
Strets tried hard in the second half but failed to score and on 85 minutes Mbano sealed victory with his second goal.
Elsewhere in the division, Chorltonians Villa won 5-1 at Old Trafford and Gorse Hill seconds.
In Division D, Old Strets thirds beat Bury Ams fourths 10-3.
