THE TCAS summer 11-a-side football league kicked off with last season's cup winners Autocab FC beating new boys Kelloggs FC 6-1.
A skilful display from man-of-the-match Bee Davis saw him net a hat-trick, while there were further goals from Shane Bates and Tyrell Grant.
Manchester United Foundation took on UKFast FC and won a tight game 5-4.
UKFast's new goalkeeper Paul Grady pulled off an excellent penalty save on the 25-minute mark but Manchester United Foundation were soon 2-0 up.
After levelling before the break, a commanding performance by Chris Mosley for UKFast saw them regain control in the second half.
But the Man United Foundation responded and went on to secure victory.
Elsewhere, two title favourites, Royal London FC and Barclays FC, faced each other.
Barclays' powerful front man Denico Walters netted home a penalty to make it 1-0 and skipper Trevor Hughes netted after a second spot-kick taken by him had been saved.
Mahmoud Haroun made it three before Nick Jordan and George Moston responded but it ended 3-2 to Barclays.
