CENTRAL Club edged a thrilling mid-table battle against Railway Altrincham in the latest round of matches in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League.
It was tied at 3-3 until fourth-placed Central clinched the deciding leg but Railway's Zoey Morris was proud of her side's display despite the setback.
Brooklands Tap also went all the way against Station Altrincham before winning 4-3 to move them to joint fifth place.
At the top end, Timperley Cons had a convincing win against a strong Orange Tree team as they warmed up for next week's clash against leaders Budenburgs, who were without a game this week.
British Rail Club also had a comfortable win against Stone Masons,cementing their third place.
