THERE were some high-level darts in the latest round of fixtures in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League on Monday night.
Third-placed British Rail took on Central Club, who sit fourth, and came out on top with current individual champion Nigel Beeton on form taking his leg against central captain Carl Bailey.
Five of his colleagues followed suit to secure Rail's 6-1 victory despite Central's Chris White winning his leg with an 11-dart finish.
Brooklands Tap had a good battle with Railway Altrincham, winning 6-1 to seal two valuable points in the mid-table battle.
League leaders Budenburgs had a great win against The Station Altrincham, while The Railway Sale gave The Orange Tree a run for their money.
Budenburgs remain in top spot with Timp Cons second just ahead of British Rail.
