LEADERS Budenburgs maintained their winning streak in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League on Monday night.

Third-placed British Rail also won while Central Club took on Brooklands Tap in a clash between the fourth and fifth-placed sides.

The match started well for the Tap, taking leg one in good style.

Central then bounced back with four straight winning legs to take the points and the match, before the Tap took the last two legs making the overall score 4-3.

Andy Kindred of the Tap put in a 12-dart leg which was fewest darts on the night.

Elsewhere, The Orange Tree beat Railway Altrincham in a closely-fought contest with the end result 5-2.

Monday night sees the league's pairs competition take place at the Central Club which involves all the players from all the teams choosing a partner and then playing down to the final pair on the night.
