SALE youngster Ben Whitfield bounced his way to glory in the Trampoline and Tumbling regional finals in the Midlands and is now targeting national success.
The 11-year-old won his event as part of the North West team at the Barclaycard Arena and is now set for the national finals this weekend in Telford.
Ben has been trampolining for two years and trains twice a week at Altrincham Leisure Centre and once a week at George H Carnell Leisure Centre in Urmston.
And dad Darren, of Woodheys Drive, was a proud father after watching Ben add another title to his collection.
He told SAM sport: "It was a mega proud day for us in Birmingham and Ben will now compete in Telford in the national finals.
"He will again compete against the boys he beat last time out and we are all hoping he can become national champion."
