SALE Sharks back-row Viliami Fihaki is looking to put in another explosive performance on Saturday when the Sharks take on Pau in round two of the European Rugby Challenge Cup.

Despite finishing on the losing side, Fihaki shone as he made 88 metres from just 19 carries.

Speaking to the club's website, he admitted he was pleased with his performance: "In some ways when I carried the ball, I was just in the right place at the right time. I thought I played well but obviously I wanted it to be a better final result."

He revealed his frustration at the side's performance on Sunday against the Dragons: "We had a good run throughout the whole week and we just didn't put to bed what we had been practicing.

"Hopefully this week we can fix it and bounce back with a good performance against Pau."

He's excited about performing in front of his home crowd at the AJ Bell Stadium: "I always love playing at the AJ Bell, there is a good buzz when you play in front of your home fans & family so hopefully that will help us on Saturday."
