THERE were more tricks and treats for the Manchester Storm fans who turned up in Halloween costume to watch their side record a 5-2 win against Edinburgh Capitals.

The game couldn't have started better for the Altrincham-based outfit as within 33 seconds of play they found themselves ahead with a great goal by Matt Caria.

Their lead was doubled when Paul Phillips took his tally to two goals for the season after 12 minutes.

The visitors pulled one goal back in the second period but the game was put the bed in the third period with a beautiful goal by Matt Sisca early in the period.

The Capitals scored their second of the night only moment later.

With the scoreboard at 3-2, the Storm gave everything they had and were rewarded for their efforts thanks to a another two goals.

One from Caria and another for Sisca, wrapped up the win.

Storm made it back-to-back wins at the weekend when they beat 3-1 Coventry Blaze in the Challenge Cup.

Caria put Storm ahead after 36 minutes then Omar Pacha extended their lead in the third period.

Coventry pulled one goal back but as they were pushing hard for an equaliser the Storm pushed hard for the empty net goal, which finally came thanks to Luke Salazar, with 46 seconds left on the clock.

It was their first victory on the road and helped them book their place in the Challenge Cup.
