STRETFORD senior teams were without a game this weekend but the clubs juniors continued their fantastic winning streak, with matches all week.
The club field teams at under 9,10,11,12,1,3,14,15 and 17 in the Lancashire County League junior section and the South Manchester junior league.
Over the years the club have had great success bringing youngsters through to represent their districts, leagues and county.
First-team spinner Ahmad Muhammad was again the star of the show for Lancashire Under-15s in their victory over Yorkshire this Sunday.
Ahmad bowled 6-15 and has been nominated for the England development program, which means he will be watched closely by scouts and his performances will be analysed through the season.
Elsewhere, the unbeaten u15s beat Prestwich twice last week in league and cup and then chased Stand, their closest rivals total of 96 winning by six wickets with six overs remaining.
The club are always looking for new players the junior training is Monday nights from 6.30pm until 8pm and seniors Thursdays 6pm until 9.
Stretford is a clubmark accredited club and just last season received a £30,000 grant from the ECB, which was backed up with a large donation by sponsors HVPD for enabling the club to install a fantastic three-lane practice facility.
