THREE minutes into the game Tom Arscott raced in for a try down the left wing after a great build up by Cipriani and Leota. Cipriani lined up the conversion near the touchline in front of the main stand but his kick was conversion attempt was well wide of the target, 5-0.

Olly Barkley reduced the arrears on 12 minutes with a well struck penalty awarded for offside, 7-3. Barkley had a chance to put Welsh in front on 20 minutes but his long range effort fell just short of the target.

On 23 minutes Vadim Cobilas doubled the Sharks tally with a well worked try, Danny Cipriani converted and Sharks led 12-3.

Tom Arscott made a great break on 28 minutes jinking his way through the Welsh defence. He passed to Cusiter who got closer to the line before passing to Easter who collided with a Welsh defender and the chance went begging.

Sharks began to really build momentum but the final pass went astray on a couple of occasions. Welsh at this point were feeding off scraps. Cipriani put in a crossfield kick which Brady caught well on the run but his pass inside failed to find any of his team mates. Danny Cipriani increased the lead to 15-3 on 38 minutes from a penalty which also saw former Sharks legend Dean Schofield sin binned.

Danny Cipriani increased the lead within two minutes of the restart from short range with a penalty, 18-3.

Welsh in fairness did their best with limited ball and crossed the line on 57 minutes through Seb Jewell. Barkley's conversion attempt was well off target, 18-8.

Sharks scored try number three on 66 minutes when Tom Arscott scored his second try in the corner after a sweeping crossfield move. Danny Cipriani converted from the touchline to increase the lead to 25-8.

It finally arrived with five minutes remaining when Tom Brady beat off the challenge of several Welsh defenders to score. The move had been created by a superb break by Tom Arscott who made thirty metres downfield and the build up started to Brady's try. Danny Cipriani converted from the touchline, 32-8.
