Andy Edmonds from Barclays with Trafford FC match secretary Dave Murray
TRAFFORD FC’s match secretary, Dave Murray, was invited by Barclays, the Premiership Sponsors, to the Manchester United v Cardiff City game, as a thank you for his work in football at the grassroots level.
As well as being match secretary Dave is the editor of the club’s website, matchday programme, the monthly newsletter - plus a number of other duties at Shawe View.
He has been involved in non-league football for 35 years with Irlam Town, Curzon Ashton and for the last 19 years with Trafford.
He was joined by six members of the club committee and they all enjoyed the hospitality in the ‘Treble Suite’ and the game, which saw new signing Juan Mata make his debut for United.
