Join the league

THE 104-year old Lancashire and Cheshire AFL is ready to receive applications from clubs wishing to join the league next season.

The league is the biggest Saturday afternoon amateur league in the North West and currently runs football in ten divisions for over 110 teams with an age range of 16-60 covering all abilities.

Preferred applicants are with charter standard qualifications and preferably with a sound off-the-field administration and good playing facilities.

League secretary Brian Davies said: “We also prefer clubs to have at least two teams and anyone interested can contact me via email secretary@landc.org.uk or tel 01925 751400.”
