Magnificent effort at Davyhulme Park
THE joint efforts of the captain, lady captain and members at Davyhulme Park Golf Club saw a magnificent sum of nearly £8,000 raised for Parkinson’s UK, Trafford branch.
The money was collected by the members throughout the year and a charity weekend staged by the captain, Derrick Page, and his charity committee, while the lady captain Lyn Niland raised funds with lunches, bridge drives, afternoon teas and many raffles.
