A TENNIS club are keen to promote the use of their new all weather floodlit courts which allow play throughout the year.

Claremont Tennis Club, who celebrated their centenary a couple of years ago, have appointed a new coach, Johnnie Carrigan.

He has already extended the junior coaching programme and has added cardio sessions and young mum coaching sessions during school hours. The club's members range in age from three to 80.

Claremont's teams were successful in both league and cup competitions last year and in 2013 are looking for talented youngsters to enter a “Search for a Star” initiative.
