THE Annual Presentation Dinner for Sale Golf Club’s men was another memorable evening with their ‘major’ trophies being handed out.
It was quite a night for the Bullough family and Captain elect Ian and his son Jack scooped several of the top prizes.
Jack, who was the first Sale player to win the Mersey Championship for many years also took the Scratch and Peace Trophies and he was runner-up for the President’s Prize won by Paul Abbott while Ian picked up the coveted Life Members Trophy.
The club champion was John Russell who also won the Jubilee Plate gross prize and James Hindle was the ‘Most Improved Golfer’ dropping his handicap from 23-15.
James also won the Jubilee Plate nett prize.
John Burgess took the Captain’s Prize and winning the knockouts were Foursomes champions Kevin Moore and Steve Carr and Four ball top dogs Neil Griffiths and Mobi Rawthore.
Sale Captain Peter Middleton thanked all who had helped to make this a memorable season for the club as they look forward to their Centenary year in 2013.
