FLIXTON Golf Club rounded off another successful season by holding its traditional Champions’ Dinner.
The winners of the club’s ‘major’ trophies attended with their families to be presented with their prizes and celebrate their victories.
One of the top trophies went to president Mike Brown who won the Woodhouse Trophy for the most consistent golfer of the year.
Along with an influx of new members the club has plenty of reasons to be happy with the 25th anniversary of the opening of the new clubhouse and the 120th anniversary of the club.
A variety of functions and special competitions will be held to celebrate these landmarks adding to the full list of club fixtures and tournaments that continue to keep the club thriving.
