The service is open to anyone over the age of 18 years of age who lives in the Trafford area, or is registered with a Trafford GP.

A team of experienced staff and volunteers are on hand to provide support which includes counselling for people affected by illness, bereavement counselling and complementary therapies. There are also a range of therapeutic groups to help with relaxation, confidence building, fatigue management, mindfulness meditation, singing and gentle yoga. The centre also has a dedicated drop-in information service.

Margaret Ball , a volunteer at the centre who is helping to organise this year’s coffee morning said: “We offer a warm, relaxed and confidential environment for people living with or affected by cancer or a life-limiting illness.

“This event is a great opportunity for people to connect with others and find out about the support that is available, while raising money for a good cause.”
