ON Saturday, July 15, title-winning Flixton Brass Band will hold its final fundraising concert to get it to the national brass band finals in Cheltenham in September.
It will be held at St Clements Church, Stretford Road, Urmston at 7.30 pm and will feature a programme varying from fun toe-tapping melodies to beautiful arrangements of hymn tunes.
The Mayor of Trafford and band president, Councillor Jonathan Coupe, will be there.

Having beaten 20 other section bands to come first in the North West Regional Brass Band championships, Flixton Brass Band is raising £3000 to travel to the national finals in September.
