URMSTON parents went back to school last week for a Breakfast in the Library, in honour of World Book Day.
The Highfield Primary School event was hailed a huge success, with parents enjoying breakfast, sharing stories and taking part in a variety of book-related activities.
Other visitors included representatives from Urmston Library and Urmston Bookshop.
Headteacher Mrs Robertson said: “It was great to see the library so busy with parents and children sharing books and enjoying the activities on offer.
“At Highfield we want all our children to enjoy reading and strive to instil a life-long love of books.”
