FLIXTON Girls' School (FGS) students represented Trafford at the national UDance 2016 Festival at The Lowry in a special edition “sited performance” trail .
They were among seven groups from colleges, schools and dance companies from across the North West that provided a trail of performances using spaces around The Lowry, rather than the usual “staged” production.
Flixton's students - Breanna Bradshaw, Megan Holt, Olivia Isherwood, Megan Carr, Annie Green-Smith, Evie Pickering, Amy Donelon, Lia Norton, Molly McIver, Rebecca Campling, Tyana Reid and Abbie Sullivan - explored the idea of star formation with their performance.
Student Lia Norton said: "I really enjoyed performing in an unusual space using different dance movements. It was a great opportunity."
