THE Post Office on Lostock Road in Davyhulme has been officially re-opened, following modernisation.
Carrying out the honours were the Mayor of Trafford, Cllr John Holden, together with Lillian Conroy, who at 105 years of age is the oldest customer attending the branch on a weekly basis.
This new 'main' style branch continues to be an essential part of the community. It now has longer opening hours and offers additional services, including more foreign currencies and car tax.
Within the new counter area are the Mayor and Miss Conroy, together with the postmistress, Khalida Hussain
