IT’S not every day a superhero swings in to pay for your fuel at the pumps – but you could be in luck.

An employee from Urmston-based online retailer, Bathroom Takeaway, is taking on a five day superhero challenge in aid of Cash for Kids.

The charity asked that supporters dress up as their favourite character for Superhero Day on Friday May 13, to raise much-needed funds for When You Wish Upon A Star.

The money will go toward granting wishes of children suffering from a life threatening or terminal illness.

But Bathroom Takeaway wanted to do something different; instead of having a Superhero Day they went the extra mile with a Superhero Week.

Along with having superhero cereal every morning, Bathroom Takeaway’s Spider-Man will be honing his Spidey Senses to perform the duties of a superhero with one Random Act of Kindness a day for one working week.

Already, the Bathroom Takeaway’s resident superhero has paid for fuel at a filling station in Eccles, supplied food and blankets for the Manchester Dog’s Home, and gave away free money to shoppers at Trafford Asda Car Park.

Tomorrow, in honour of Superhero Day, all Spiderman’s colleagues will be joining him in costumes to help boost funds for the cause.
