PUPILS from a Davyhulme primary school joined forces with a councillor to help make the area a greener place.
Davyhulme East Ward’s Cllr Lisa Cooke has been planting trees in a bid to improve the environment and enlisted the help of youngsters from Our Lady of the Rosary RC school, on Davyhulme Road.
Head teacher Susan Malloy said: “Our Lady of the Rosary is delighted to be involved in this tree planting project which is improving our local environment.”
Cllr Cooke is pictured with Year Five pupils Keanan and Ciara planting one of the new trees.
