Moss Park Gardens
Following the inaugural meeting, brought together by resident Jim Lougheed with added help from Councillors, Jane Brophy and Neil Taylor. The Friends of Moss Park Gardens was formed; Chairman Jim Lougheed and friends are aiming to turn these gardens in Timperley back into a green haven for the benefit of residents and visitors to Timperley.
Located on the corner of Moss Lane and Park Road many of you will have passed and maybe have memories!!
Rumour has that it was once called the “Garden of Rest”, it would be interesting to know if anybody has any information they might like to share
The area is maintained by the council, but the councillors reckon a friends group will help to improve it, so the more Friends of Moss Park Gardens there are makes this a reality.
