TWO crews of firefighters from Altrincham and Sale along with the technical response unit and major rescue unit from Ashton were called to a road traffic collision in Timperley, at 10.40pm on Friday, July 28,
On arrival crews found two cars had collided at the junction of Eaton Drive and Riddings Road and they rescued one casualty from their car.
Four other casualties had escaped their vehicle before crews arrived and were checked over by ambulance crews.
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment, lighting and a longboard and were on the scene for an hour and 35 minutes.
