FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at a house in Timperley yesterday afternoon.
Engines from Sale, Altrincham and Wythenshawe scrambled to Thorley Lane at around 3.40pm on Thursday December 8.
They found a fire which was started by cooking that had been left unattended.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and they were in attendance for 30 minutes. The cause of the fire was accidental.
