SECOND Davyhulme Scout group has won the Greater Manchester West County Scout Camping competition.

The six-strong team saw off the challenge from six teams representing each district within the county to claim the prize.

The team members demonstrated their scouting skill as they camped for two nights.

They now got on to the regional competition for the north west of England.
