H&A News on Third Avenue
RAM-RAIDERS have wrecked a newsagent in Stretford in an attempt to steal cash.
Police were called to H&A News in Third Avenue shortly after 11pm on Tuesday night (September 17) to reports of an offender rammed into the shutters of the store.
Inside the offender had tried to open the cash machine but there are no reports if anything was taken.
The offender fled and left the car on the scene.
The newsagent is currently shut and workers are in the store completing repairs.
