STRETFORD Band is holding a joint concert with Bolton Hoover Band at Sevenways Methodist Church, Barton Road, Stretford, on Saturday, October 7 at 7.30pm.

The band will present a varied selection of popular music.

The highlight will be when Craig Mann, Stretford’s conductor until six years ago, who now conducts the Bolton Band, plays Dear Lord and Father of Mankind on the organ to the accompaniment of both bands.

The event will be in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care.
