BENSONS for Beds is the latest major store to be attracted to the revamped White City Retail Park in Old Trafford.
The specialist bed retailers has signed a 10 year lease on a 830 sq m unit at The Derwent Group’s shopping centre.
The retail park, which has undergone a £6.5 million transformation, has attracted a succession of leading retailers with recent openings including Home Bargains, the Iceland Food Warehouse, M&S Foodhall, Oak Furniture Land, and a combined store encompassing Currys, PC World and Carphone Warehouse.
White City Retail Park is already home to the likes of Dreams, Furniture Village, Halfords, and Sofology, and furniture retailer Multiyork due to open in November.
James Maule-Ffinch, senior asset manager at the Derwent Group, said: “Bensons for Beds is a strong addition to the high quality retail offering at White City Retail Park.
"We are really pleased with the strong interest we continue to receive from tenants, and it is great to see White City thriving and undergoing such exciting changes.”
He believes White City Retail Park, on chester Road, is perfectly placed to become one of the North West’s major retail destinations.
