AN Old Trafford charity has benefitted from a £900 boost, thanks to Shaw Hall Scrabble Club.
The scrabble club, who meet at the Church Road community centre in Flixton, raised funds for Henshaws, a specialist charity providing support, advice and training to people affected by sight loss, at their annual charity event in June.
Shaw Scrabble Club’s John Tierney presented Stuart Graham, from Henshaws, with a cheque. Marian Burrows, an ambassador for Henshaws, also attended the presentation.
