A MACHETE-wielding man who climbed on top of a building in Stretford is still on the loose.
Police are hunting for a man armed with a machete after he was spotted on the roof of a garage on Talbot Road this afternoon, Friday July 1.
Officers arrived at the scene at 1.45pm and tried to coax the man down.
At 3.45pm, the man was known to have gone inside the building and officers are currently searching for him.
Eyewitnesses said armed police and police dogs were also at the scene.
The force helicopter was also reported to be circling the area.
The area outside Trafford MOT has been cordoned off.
