LONGFORD Park Community Allotment is holding an open day on Sunday, April 24.
Everyone is welcome to drop in to look around and have a cuppa and piece of cake, from 1.30 – 4.30pm..
There will be a chance to plant seeds and get some plants, and from 3.30pm visitors can learn how to make recycled planters, with Mark Frith from Hulme Garden Centre.
Visitors are also welcome to drop in on Sundays, 10am to 12noon; Mondays, 2 to 4pm; Wednesdays, 10am to 12 noon; and Thursdays, 6 to 7.30pm.
