WE are writing to let Stretford residents know that there will be a public meeting at St. Matthews Church Hall, in Stretford, on Thursday, February 27, commencing at 6:30 pm, to discuss feedback on the ‘Stretford Masterplan’ proposals.
We want to encourage everyone to attend this meeting, hear the proposals and have an input in helping to shape Stretford’s future.
We have been fighting for many years for Trafford Council to put forward such a strategy and we see this as a welcome first step.
This is a strategy that will develop and evolve over the next decade and beyond, but only with your help and support, and as such we should all see this as a positive step forward and we would encourage everyone to get involved.
Many people will have different views on what they would like and would not like to see in the strategy, however we feel it is important that everyone should be able feel they can have an input, so please do come along have your say, get involved and together we can help shape this future of our community.
Cllrs Steve Adshead, Tom Ross and Dolores O’Sullivan
