AN elderly woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Sale.
Police were called to Tatton Road shortly before 1.25pm today, where they found a woman in her late 80s had been involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Zafira.
The woman suffered a head injury and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
A number of road closures are in place while emergency services deal with the incident.
