AN EARLY year's music teacher has been celebrating 21 years of Rhythm Time across Trafford.

Laura Grewer is part of a national celebration of the business that aims to get youngsters together and enhance their development through music.

The brand was foundered by Kathy Doolan in 1995 and the first class launched in 1996.

Laura has been a teacher of Rhythm Time since 2011. She decided to buy the Trafford franchise from the previous owner two-years-ago and set up a further class in Urmston one-year-ago.

She now holds 20 classes a week in Sale, Altrincham and Urmston, inspiring over 300 children.

There was a week-long celebration of fun and music across the Trafford franchises and on October 24, Laura held a big party in Altrincham.

She said: “Running the Franchise for Rhythm Time in the Trafford area is such a brilliant job. Not only is it an honour to introduce our award-winning programme to babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and to watch them develop.

“It is fantastic to be part of a brand that is celebrating 21 fabulous years in business. Making the decision to buy the Rhythm Time franchise for the Trafford area something I am extremely proud of.

“I am very excited about the future of my business as I can continue to share the wonderful benefits of early music making with even more little ones in my local area.”

Founder of Rhythm Time, Kathy Doolan said: ‘I am absolutely delighted with the success of Rhythm Time. What started as a dream has now become the passion of nearly 40 dedicated franchisees all over the country - I would like to thank Laura for her support in bringing Rhythm Time to the Trafford area, and providing such fantastic classes for local families.’
